Supported by a tall skinny vase that is placed on a black piece of cloth, with the original Leica Q mounted to a boom arm. Twenty shots, each adjusted for focus and blended together to gain depth of the focal field. Shot at .6sec @ f/8. Diffused natural light with a couple of large bounce cards.

I hold a serious interest in digital photography that started in my early forties. It started with a 6 megapixel Nikon D40 DSLR kit that came with two plastic lenses, that I bought at Walmart for a west coast road trip with my wife Toni. That obsess....er, interest has progressed in various forms over the past 20 years and included the help of several accomplished photographers, who's honest feedback was essential for me to continuously improve how I see the world through a camera and lens, and how to best capture, prepare and present those images. There is no better feeling for me in photography than seeing an image connect with people, especially those I love. I'll chase that feeling for as long as I'm capable.
