Reaching for the Light

Sometimes, the story may be necessary...

When I set this shot up, I really didn't have any particular idea of what it would become, but I was doing a lot of experimenting with lighting and it sort of shaped the idea of a lone tulip shrouded in darkness reaching for the light, with the leaves seemingly reaching out to pull it from the vase. I did some selective burning to make the back of the vase disappear into the void.

Anyway, I can sometimes have a vivd imagination, so take it for what its worth.
